From July the 9th to the 13th, the First  ESCAPE Integration Week test took place in France, hosted at the UTC – Université de Technologie de Compiègne‘s facilities. The UTC Innovation Center was the perfect test-bed for a full suite of tests of the ESCAPE GNSS Engine – EGE board mounted on a test vehicle, a fully-electric Renault Zoe (see picture 1).

The tests were carried on by the FICOSA, GMV and Renault teams in collaboration with the UTC scientists (see picture 2). These tests were extremely important to expose the EGE prototype to various operational conditions, including static and dynamic vehicle (see picture 3), open sky, sub-urban and urban scenarios. After an intense week of, the outcomes of this integration week were incouraging and positive: they will be fundamental to refine the EGE prototype.
