From July the 9th to the 13th, the First ESCAPE Integration Week test will take place in France, hosted at the UTC – Université de Technologie de Compiègne‘s facilities.
The FICOSA, GMV and Renault teams are meeting with the UTC scientists at the UTC Innovation Center for a full suite of tests of the interfaces of the hardware and software prototypes of the ESCAPE GNSS Engine – EGE board mounted on a test vehicle. Interfaces under test include CAN, IMU, GNSS-RINEX, Modem and Ethernet, as well as ROS and HMI. During this week the EGE prototype will be exposed to various operational conditions, including static and dynamic vehicle, open sky, sub-urban and urban scenarios. The outcome of this integration week will be fundamental to proceed with the refinements of the EGE prototype.
The prototypes are installed on an electric Renault Zoe, see Figure 1.
