On last Wednesday 4 October E. Domìnguez Tijero (GMV) presented the ESCAPE project during the final conference of the COST Action TU1302 – Satellite Positioning Performance Assessment for Road Transport (SaPPART) held in Brussels. Panel discussions covered the topics of industrial, institutional and standardization viewpoints on GNSS technology in ITS. They were followed by presentations about four on-going R&D projects on Autonomous Vehicles positioning: InLANE, ESCAPE, InDrive and The Grand Cooperative Driving Challenge. The conference received around 50-60 attendees, which show interest in the presentations and the panel discussion.

Other representatives of the ESCAPE consortium also attended the event  (IFSTTAR, RENAULT, UTC).
